Is this 16610T authentic?
All,
I just registered here to seek your expertise. I found a Submariner 16610T on EBay. Sellers pictures attached from the listing. Seems quite an old model, and the aluminium bezel is a bit banged up. Generally the watch is in OK condition it looks like. Could you tell me if it looks authentic to you, it comes with no box or papers but is from a seller also in the UK with 500+ positive feedbacks + 100% positive transactions. Where would be the best place to take it otherwise to verify if its real? Rolex AD? It looks like a decent shout to me but I could be way off the mark, I'm certainly no expert. For me the bezel numbering seems a bit narrow which was the main suspicion I saw. And whether the pictures are the property of the seller which they seem to be. Let me know your thoughts. Many thanks. |

As conclusive as one can get - many thanks, I'll pass on it.
Could you tell me out of interest what helped you identify? I'm looking to learn! Thanks in advance. |

Yep, Larry nailed it. Total junker.
If you want to post the link or auction #, we'll get it shut down. |

Thanks for the confirm freefly.
Its funny how obvious it now seems to me once I look at that last picture of the movement and how different it looks to a normal 3135. When looking before being told I think the wishing it was real caused clouded judgement.... |
