help or info on this tiffany vintage

hello, i purchased this for my wife last year.
all i know is that the watch has a 14k bracelet. it winds and works and keeps time very good. i paid $1100 for it from a guy who had it on craigslist.
even if its not really rare or valueable it has some decent gold weight to it and she gets lots of compliments on it.
anyway, any idea on year or anything?
i cant find info anywhere.is it rare, common? is it worth the $1100?
thanks in advance for any help at all.

Never seen that particular configuration before, looks good though.

Usually the 3653 has a horse shoe shaped diamond bezel with an open bottom end.

Welcome to the forum.

Fairly common without the Tiffany & Co name, so this would be much more rare. Most are from the mid 1960's to the late 1970's. These small case, yellow gold watches are simply out of favor in the market today as women prefer steel or white gold larger watches. I have bought and sold similar Rolex's like this one for $900 to $1200 without the Tiffany name on it. I would think that Tiffany & Co adds another 15% to the value....good buy! I hope she wears it in good health.

Interesting watch, looks like a dress model from the 70's or the 80's.
