Three watches for a Patek 5119j?
The Patek is my grail. Thinking of trading in three Jaegers: MUT Moon, Reverso TT1931 and Geophysic. I really do not wear them. Am I nuts?

If you don't wear them and you can use them to attain your dream watch, I'd say go for it

I went for the same route to buy Rolex Daytona 116506. From my experience, there's nothing grail. If Patek Philippe is you fave brand go for it and wear it in style

Trading 3 pieces you don't wear for a grail is not nuts. Be sure this Patek is really the one for you - personally I find the movement far too small for the case which causes the sub seconds dial to be too far inboard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Trading three for one is not crazy. I'd have no issue with that if I really didn't wear the three and there was no other reason (sentimental etc) to keep any of them. That's not to say the actual deal is a good or reasonable one from a monetary perspective, I don't know much about the real prices on any of the four so I can't opine.
I'm also assuming the Patek would not be your only watch as it's not really an everyday model. |

I have more watches than I can wear. I think knocking three into one may help.

I just did 4 into 2
I traded 4 into 2 and that only leaves me with 3 watches. But I am happy with the two I traded into.
