New-wave superocean
I fell in love with this watch, when I saw the pix. I thought it would be a cool Dive-Beach watch. In fact, it seemed pretty affordable too.
I went to the AD yesterday and they told me that the Breitling Rep said they will not ship the NEW-WAVE until Mid summer. They are having issues with the rubber bezel. **Also Breitling will start adding more of their "OWN" movement to more upcoming watches. However, the NEW-WAVE superocean will use the same superocean movement.. CZ |

If Breitling is adding the Quartz to every watch, I'm done with them. I like the older automatics, but have no love for a $5k quartz.

Are you looking for a dive watch or a Breitling dive watch?

Look at the Superocean Heritage line, I like them more than the Superocean II's.
I chose the SOH 46 over the IWC Aquatimer because with the IWC, you are stuck wearing only the IWC rubber or bracelet, with the SOH, you can wear any 24mm strap. With all the 24mm aftermarket straps made for Panerai, the possibilities are endless for the SOH 46. Buy one on the rubber than pick up a strap changing tool and some nice leather straps, you are set for all occasions.

IM IN VEGAS BABY!!!! Just walked into "Rocks the jeweler" in the Hard Rock..
I was looking for the NewWave SuperOCEAN. They had a couple in the other store. They would ship for free and no tax! The Msrp for the watch with Rubber dive strap was $2600. Immediately, the salesperson dropped 20% on the price. Just for your info, if you are interested, I am sure you can get the watch for 30% off with no tax...I say this because the price drop was instant without negotiations. Good luck, AL
