Last min. HELP... BLNR VS Milgauss Blue

Im down with this two models.... i plan to use it rarely on metals strap... mostly on Perlon, Rubber B and leather... both pieces looks good and very versatile...

Between the two which one will you choose and WHY?..

BTW i will use this every day in rotation with my Blue seiko turtle re-issue.. which i love so much and reason why I'm not getting the Submariner..

Some pictures for reference...

The milgauss...

lovely dial... its not for everybody... i think this piece is love it or hate it for the watch enthusiasts... the dial is love... calming to look at

Batman

so whats your vote...

***note*** I've reserved this two pieces at my AD and will arrive in APRIL so i have time to decide..

I would be shocked if this isn't a 10:1 decision for the GMT.

The Milgauss looks amazing on those strap configurations. Based on what you are trying to do I would go with that reference.

I've had both and I have to say, hands down the Milli is by far the more impressive watch.

I voted Milgauss for this reason. Had you planned to keep it on the bracelet, BLNR all day long.

I've owned both but sold the BLNR. The Milli is my daily beater and blows me away when the sun comes out and lights up the dial and GV, amazing!

I had the same choice to make and they're both stunning pieces; in the end I picked the piece with that had the additional functionality. I'm sure you'll be happy no matter which you pick.

I was in the same dilemma couple of months ago and this was going to be my first Rolex as well. I was in love with Milgauss the minute I tried one. Thats how I met the BLNR. General consensus was in the favor of BLNR but somehow I was always going back for the Mil. I am an engineer and even though I dont work around magnetic fields very often, the story behind the watch got to me. This may sound silly to some but thats how I got my speedmaster as well.

Milgauss look perfect on perlon. Did not have a chance to try it on a strap but I guess you may need to order one with specifications. I also think BLNR looks great on nato and rubber. So this is going to be a hard decision for you.

Milgauss has a more formal look where BLNR is the sporty one. This part is all about how you dress every day. At the end I suggest Milgauss especially since you already have a sportier Seiko. As for the resale value it looks like BLNR is currently better. If you flip often you may consider BLNR to be a better choice but just like most people, I dont intend to flip my first Rolex ever.

Congrats in advance. Whatever you choose thats a win win for you.

I think the Milgauss is a lot more reserved and plain. So I'd choose the BLNR all day long. Also technically has more functionality.

How about we split it? I'll take the Milgauss, and you'll go with the BLNR

I like the look of the Milgauss better but frankly voted for BLNR due to its popularity and lack of that the Milgauss.

Can't vote on the desecration of two excellent watches by fitting crap straps

Had the Milgauss and gave it to my wife (looks absolutely amazing on her) and got the BLNR (at least the Milgauss is still in the family). The Milgauss just didn't have the presence on my wrist that I like (I wear everything from the Daytona to the DSSD & Panerai's). The pluses are the case shape and the blue/green colors are very cool. Good luck on your decision, can't really go wrong either way!

The Milgauss is a cool piece and I've owned a couple in the past but I can't vote against the BLNR. One of the best SS watches available in my opinion.
I like the blue Z Blue dial a lot but found that it tends to look washed out in certain lighting.

Be sure to try them on and you decide in spite of the pole results. My choice would be the BLNR
