Can't beat a classic!

Of all the Rolex's I've bought and sold this is the first I've bought brand spanking new from an AD! 1 day old still with all the stickers on and my own name on the card! What better model to buy and keep for life and pass on to my son than the original and iconic Sub! Superb service from the AD and I only ordered it middle of Aug!

Just goes to show if you have a good phone around there's still hope in London for a stainless steel sports model!

It's a classic for a reason. Gorgeous, iconic, durable. Rolex has been making the Sub for what, like 60 years? No, you simply cannot go wrong with a classic!

Congrats on the Sub date! It's truly a classic and a beauty, the original sub had no date though.

I myself also bought my Sub with the goal to hold onto it for the long haul, wear it in good health.

I know I've had 3 no date subs in my time and it is a pure piece of perfection but I've always fancied the date version so I made the switch! I've had the Hulk before but think the sub is truly at it's best in pure oily black!

Definitely agree that being the first to own a particular Rolex, complete with all the related booklets, tags, boxes, etc., sized to fit your wrist, and with the paperwork in your name from an AD, makes the ownership of one that much more special.

Congratulations!
