Owned a black baton Sa for 2 months, and was bored out of my mind with it. The watch is to big at 48mm , unless you have a 7.5 wrist or bigger , it looks goofy when wearing it.

I think its a great watch if you have the wrist to pull it off. If not, the Chronomat would be the better choice.

I think it's more about how comfortable you are with it on. Yes it's a monster, but if you like that style then it's a cool watch to have. I used to sell that watch more than almost any piece I stocked when I worked retail. Big, small, fat, skinny, muscular...everyone. If it's too big, the regular Avenger is slightly smaller, but it has limited dial choices and the two are the same price.

i had a white dial with baton on blue croc and got bored pretty fast. the watch is HUGE. its not just the dial size the thickness makes it a monster. like mac said you have to have 7.5 inch wrists and up. to be honest it looks better on a guy with 8 inch wrist and up.

I'm 5'7" athletic build with a 7.5 inch wrist and have no issues and love it. I also love it for the BIG in your face look.

I'm very tempted to buy it at Costco for about $4600. Do you guys think that's a good deal? Or do you think I can get a better deal?

I've seen that at Costco too! It is a large size. If you are thinking of something more reasonably sized, maybe the normal Avenger is better.

I had a white SA - and loved it -
but it drew too much attention - more then any Rolex or other brand I've worn.

it really did push the limit of how large I will go with a watch - I doubt I get another at that size. My Omega PO is 45.5mm - and that's my new limit -

check out the skyland - I think it's almost the same watch - but a few MM smaller.

I tried one on today an it was nice but huge. I have 7.75-8" wrists so I could pull it off but too big for my liking. The quality was very nice.

Does anyone have a picture of a Super Avenger and Avenger side by side. Interested in whether the 3 mm difference is all that much.

I owned a SA with the black dial with baton hour sticks. Very nice watch but I felt it was too big and too flashy for my tastes. I also noticed that the bigger the watch, the more chances of banging the watch into things like door frames and desk drawers, just my opinion. The SA certainly will draw attention wherever you go. I'll stick to my titanium Chrono Avenger which is smaller.
