Possible Incoming
Got the call for a 31mm DJ on a jubilee bracelet and the floral-motif. I’ve not seen this piece in person before and the wife’s birthday is next month. Any thoughts?

I've seen this watch and tried to convince my wife to put her name on the list (might allow me to move on another Rolex if she has one). She liked it but leans to the Cartier Tank. I'm pretty sure if this watch showed up for a birthday it would be most welcome nonetheless but I still might have to get her a Cartier.

I’ve seen it in person, it’s stunning, I’m sure she will like it, that dial pops…
Very refined looking piece. |

It has absolutely nothing to do with what you or anyone on this site thinks about the watch, does your wife want it, will SHE like it?

Thanks, everyone, for the input. I'll post pics if we pick it up.

I learned years ago that my wife wants what she wants and many times my best intentions are not what she wants. I would take her to the store and let her try it on and see if she likes it. That simple.

It’s an attractive watch. Does she like the size? Many women wearing 36mm now.

Reading the time
While I agree that the dial is very pretty, and maybe it's just me, but with all those little baubbles dotted around in a somewhat haphazard manner and it seems that some hour indices are missing or placed differently, I've always questioned the practicality of such a dial....like I said probably just me

I love that reference. I remember when it released at W&W I thought it was a stunning release for a classy lady.

It’s a lovely piece. After having purchased several Rolexes for my wife and rarely seeing them worn I let her pick her own watch (and she landed on an Apple Watch - sigh).
