Question About 1978 Rolex 18039
Recently picked up a Rolex 18039 but am concerned about the bracelet fitted to the watch. Everything seems perfect. Can find the head of the lady of helvetia on the lug with the g. Looks legit. Even the bracelet engravings on the clasp look perfect minus missing the St bernard or the lady stamp. I can only find 2 or 3 other examples online that do not have these markings which is why I am concerned. Does anyone have any information on this?

Here is a thread I started a while back, the consensus seemed to be there was no consistence to the stampings. Chris |

My 18039 is stamped the exact same way. Was there ever resolution on this?

Looks fine in my opinion. Nothing out of place.

The early 18038/9’s came with the F18000 stamped bracelets that were missing the two other hallmarks. It’s normal and correct.

Thank you all. I was in fear of having another vintage daydate with an incorrect bracelet.
