speedy's golden year - incoming
put my name down for the apollo 11 release.
but suddenly/coincidentally found this little gem. i had been long admiring this piece, don't see it around much (at all!). the yellow gold and black dial/bezel configuration is sublime...may prefer this much more than the upcoming apollo 11. absolutely smitten with it.

the glare off the sapphire crystal makes this exceptionally difficult to photo the right angle...still seeking shots of the 'honey monster'...

When posting the previous photos, I stumbled back upon those of a very rare, and excellent condition pre-moon 321cal. As I recall, it was posted on an early space forum by the son of a gentleman who was involved in the supply chain for the Apollo program. It was worn sparingly, and the son came across it while sorting his father's lifetime personal effects.
 He was told immediately by several forum members that he should have it appraised, insured, and sent back to Switzerland for a careful factory service.Behold!:
