My new Sapphire set speedmaster

Hello everyone

I am actually more of an omega person than Rolex. I have obtained my grail the other month. I thought I might share. I think I can go down to a two watch collection after this not including my gshocks :)

I just wanted one crazy watch and one I can wear daily without too much attention. As you can see I like blue.

Thanks for looking.

Revisiting this again now … I didn’t realize that Omega was into gem setting. It’s very tastefully done IMO. What reference is this?

It’s way above my pay grade I’m certain

Hi brandrea thank you for your kind words. I do also think it’s tasteful though it is very much an occasion watch.

This is an off catalogue model. This is the reference below:

That blows my mind, powerful but not too intrusive. Many great moments with this unique piece!

Absolute knockout Speedy! Love it.

Of the various WG blends- imo Omega's 'canopus' WG is a thing of beauty. It's got an arguably more lustrous, & luxurious glow. Looking at one you can tell its PM.

Hard to describe. Rolex wg is good too but Omega does WG better.

Yes I must say it’s a very bright wg vs the Rolex which has a warmer tone. My patek looks grey next to the Canopus.
