Datejust on Ebay - Please Look

I am getting ready to make an offer on the piece listed below. I would appreciate any input anyone has regarding its authenticity. Everything seems to add up but something just not seem right to me. Three things stick out which could just be due to the seller being a bad photographer.

1. The rehaut. Either the watch is being held on an angle or it is way too easy to see the engraving when held straight on.

2. I can't get over that the case seems "lopsided." I know I am not explaining it well but I hope that makes sense.

3. Not sure if its a big deal, but the description was obviously jacked from some website or other seller.

The seller did post pictures of the watch set to a particular time per my request so I don't doubt he has it in his possession. My concerns are whether anyone else sees anything that would give them pause when buying.

Thanks!

looks pretty legit, say a problem was to come up after you got the watch, you can always block the funds via paypal, prolly take it to a rolex ad so they can verify the authenticity.

Go with your gut feeling and stay away from it.

Price isn't that great anyway.

The watch looks good. The serial number is visible on the watch + tag + warranty card...good sign. Lazy people don't create their own listing descriptions but just rather copy from somebody. And of course, I'd also recommend to pay attention to what's selling on TZ , search by model number and you'll find plenty of choices.

Problem is finding that particular model/style/combo etc on the forum. I've reached out to the usual guys on TRF and no luck but they said they'll keep an eye out.

Trust your instincts, brother. Too much money to lose to a stranger. I would be patient and buy from one of our trusted members here.

Watch looks good. ebay/paypal always favor the buyer. so getting your money back would not be a problem. if you decide to purchase, you can also look for the etched crown at 6 o'clock near the swiss

Thank you for all of the responses. If the price is right I might go for it. If not, no hurry I guess. I'm sure something will come up.
