Well, here we go. After jumping like crazy on airplanes and airports; I was able to make a quick stop to my fav AD; but in order to do so, I had an early start
This time, my road warrior (IWC Aquatimer) will be my companion, so off we go. Check in was a breeze and I made it to little heaven

NOW we are talking!!!!!! Time to check in with my family....TRF!!!

While waiting anxiously for BASEL reports, my plane came in,

....destination: Houston.

As I had a BIG day planned for today, I thought champagne was in order; so a stop @ Presidents Club gave me time to relax and check again my family

This is when I saw the new toys from Basel.....excited about the SS Sub-c but to me that's pretty much it. Bummer. Anyway, time for flight number two, plane is here

and this baby will take me on a very short trip over the ocean and back to mainland

....to destination: McAllen, TX

McAllen has something UNIQUE (that I just love). Once you arrive at the airport, you get bombarder with watch advertisements, and the best part: you can WALK from the airport to the shopping mall!!!!

...mall in the short distance..

....and displays warm your arrival!

After picking up my luggage, I run to the hotel....what do I find? A package from STEVE!

....what could it be??

AH! VERY nice!!! Cigars that our friend Victor from DR sent to Steve and he was kind enough to share with me!

THANK YOU VICTOR AND STEVE!!! I will fire one of this babies up tonite!!

Now, off to the mall. Just before entering, I take a quick shot at the parking lot, you can see the airport's control tower next to the base of the lamp!!

....hmmmm.....this was not here last time. I browsed in and they had set up a very nice store. Kuddos Swatch!

...but I continue walking and find a warm, homey place....

...let's see, what is on display? Outside, YMs...

...and inside, WOW, WHAT A SELECTION!!!!!! Pretty much everything!

After greeting the friendliest staff ever (long time friends), they bring me something.....NO, I will not do the closed box-semi open box-cuasi open box- image set. Here you go, plain and simple. It's here!!

So now I am the owner of a white dial Dayt!!!! This will be a perfect match for my YG and my Tudor Tiger!

To the staff @ Deutsch & Deutsch: After more than 14 years; you STILL find ways to amaze me! GRACIAS!!!

So after droooooooooooling and sizing the baby up; I had a romantic evening planned. Good food, wine and a date with my Daytona; just the two of us!!!

First, a nice glass of Merlot

to go with pork dumplings

ahhhhh fantastic! Main course: Duck!

All I could do is stare at my wrist all night long; it was a PERFECT day! It was time to go back to the hotel and relax (yeah, like if I was able to!).

Today, it is time to go back home,

I am reporting from the airport; a couple of flights and I will be back home; taking more pictures and enjoying my new Daytona.

Thank you for reading!!!! See you next time.....

It has been open for a little over a year now, it is in Palms Crossing Shopping Mall in Mission. They opened a BJ's, Barnes & Noble, Macaroni Grill and other restuarants. It is a very small PF Changs, so be sure to make reservations well in advance.
