321 bezel on standard Moonwatch?
About my only complaint for the standard Moonwatch line is the use of aluminum bezel inserts. There's nothing WRONG with an aluminum bezel but I still think I would prefer a ceramic one given the choice.
Curious, will a 321 bezel fit a standard Moonwatch? Is the insert something that can be purchased from Omega? The dial and bezel appear to be the same size as the regular moonwatch, but I'm not positive. |

I think spiral winder watch parts has an aftermarket ceramic bezel for the standard moonwatch. It’s made me seriously consider getting one.

I completely agree. I’ve moaned before that the headline should be Al and the sapphire should be ceramic at this price point especially.

It’s funny … there seemed to be a lot of noise from would be 321 aficionados that they’d prefer an aluminum bezel insert as opposed to ceramic. Go figure

Agree, keep the hesalite aluminum since it's the closest to the original, but use ceramic on the sapphire models. Makes a ton of sense.

I have seen some pics of white dial Speedys with the ceramic bezel pictured above, and they are beautiful. |

If I could get up the nerve to try it myself I'd get one. But there are no watch makers around me that I can find. They sell presses on Amazon but just not sure I'm readdy to give it a go.
