**Datejust 41 Owner's Club**

There are lots of "X Owner's Club" threads (BLNR, Platona, Submariner, etc.) so I thought we could make a DJ41 owner's club!

Let's see them!

I hope to post in here soon, trying to flip my milgauss z-blue for the same watch that HarrisonK has with rhodium, diamonds and fluted bezel. Look's awesome - one question unsure whether to go with jubilee or oyster? any views guys?

Although I think the oyster bracelet is one of the best in the industry, I chose the jubilee because the jubilee plus fluted bezel is classically Rolex. Additionally, the jubilee is less likely to show scratches because the individual links are rounded. Thus, there is less surface area per link to show scratches. On the other hand, the oyster bracelet gives the watch a much sportier look which might be better for casual wear if this is going to be your only watch. When I had my subc I never took it off no matter the occasion. Yesterday, less than 24 hours of ownership, I took the watch off to take my dog to the park. I think if it was on an oyster bracelet I would’ve kept the watch on.

I think the best combinations are:
- Smooth bezel + Oyster bracelet
- Fluted bezel + Jubilee bracelet

Looking good guys! I really like the 41. Rhodium dial would be my choice if I ever join this club.

Oh the milgauss is a beauty I would keep it however if you’re determined to sell then I would say get the oyster bracelet if you’re insisting on diamonds. I think the jubilee plus diamonds is a little bit fussy for me but only my opinion. Enjoy whatever you choose.

Tried this today.

Thought it looked fine but put the jubilee back on. I really love the jubilee bracelet. There's nothing like it.

Thank You for this post...I often wonder what I would do with this exact combo should the jubilee bracelet wear out.

Looked gorgeous on the strap...I’d bet it would look even better on an exotic strap.

Cheers!

I have been thinking about getting a white dial Datejust 41 and put it on a dark brown leather strap. I love that look on older Datejust references! Unfortunately, the older vintage references look (too) tiny on my wrist. Syed117's pics where actually one of the very few I could find where people put a Datejust 41 on a leather strap. Thanks for posting!

What struck me at Syed117 pics is that the holes in the lugs for the spring bars seem to be located very much towards the circular part of the case. Which means the lugs seem to "extend" quite a bit from where the strap wraps around the wrist. To be honest, that doesn't look good at all (even though I love the combination in general). May be its due to the strap being a bit thin or some other reason. Any other Datejust 41 owners with pics of their watch on a leather strap? Highly appreciated!
