Tudor vs. Rolex Tudor?

Hi all. I have a Tudor, with a MOP diamond dial that says Rolex Perpetual Datejust, and then on the lower part of the dial, Tudor. As I understand it, this is a refinished dial; the factory did not make these dials. Is there any protocol for listing this watch, other than pointing out that it is definitely NOT a Rolex, and that the dial is refinished? I have seen there's a lot of back and forth about "fake" Tudors...since these aren't expensive watches, not sure why anyone would want to fake one? Anyway, any insights, opinions welcomed!

...you NEED to refinish the dial and...

...make it PERIOD CORRECT with either, the Small Rose, Large Rose, or the Tudor Shield.

...OTHERWISE, your listing will most likely end up like the rest of the TRADEMARK INFRINGED Tudors.

Not sure what you mean. I think the dial had a "ROlex" crown at the midnight position on the dial. no rose or shield...

That is not a factory Tudor dial and it is a fake - there was never a Rolex crown on that dial. They are made to confuse the unknowing and elevate the price - especially when the price is below the current market for a genuine DateJust.

i think you will have a problem listing it, LONG LIVE THE TUDORMAN8276

i believe that if you are planning to resell this watch, the most ethical scenario would be to either:

a/ have a watchmaker remove any Rolex markings from the dial and sell it as a Tudor with customized dial

b/ source an authentic Tudor replacement dial and declare that in your ad
