New Addition Breguet Marine

Love everything about this watch.

Incredible dial that puts on a show playing with the light.

One of the best date applications I've seen you almost don't see the date window unless you're looking for it and when you're looking for it it's extremely legible and not to mention incredibly smooth when quick setting.

No "automatic" or "100m" or "marine" on the dial just the brand and unique number for the watch. Font on some watches doesn't detract but on a dial this classy and beautiful so glad they just let it speak for itself.

Gorgeous movement worthy of the see through caseback.

100 meters WR, 65 hour power reserve.

Fantastic rubber strap. I almost never wear watches on non-bracelets but I prefer the rubber for this watch. I think with the unique lugs having the rubber between them as opposed to bracelet just works better for my taste at least.

Am heading to Europe for first time since covid in a couple weeks and wasn't sure which watch was going to make the trip with me before picking this up but now that's an easy call.

Post your Breguet if you have one!

Beautiful piece, real high horology, always have respect for anyone that spends their money on watches like these rather than mass produced “investment” Rolex models

The marine series is amazing.

You will definitely enjoy it, 100m wr, rubber bracelet. Great underappreciated watches.

Congratulations, it is an awesome watch. True high horology, I think it looks good with a leather strap to.

Congratulations on a very fine timepiece. I have the yellow gold 5817 on a strap. Would love to post a picture but have never been able to on this forum.

Congratulations! Incredible piece.

Huge Breguet fan here - have a Tradition. One of
my favorite pieces to wear - incredible looking down at it. I have been eyeing the Breguet 3237 chronograph recently - I don’t believe in redundancy in a collection but am strongly considering making an exception.

Great watch!

It's funny you mention the redundancy aspect because I'm over here thinking the exact same thing that down the line I could easily see myself adding a silver dial version or gold version of the 5817. I'll let the honeymoon end before going that route though!

Ha ha let it die down a little…

My redundancy more focuses on complications and purposes. I don’t see the need for two chronographs as I have my 116500 Daytona. The argument could easily be made for a sports piece and dress piece though lol - a collected man keeps posting them and I personally find them to be incredible and a value in today’s market. Not my piece but this is doing it for me - I could easily see one of these pieces making it into the collection in a few months.

Beautiful combination love this. The strap looks a lot more "normal" than I would have guessed. I just assumed with the unique protruding lugs maybe throwing on strap would look off but doesn't appear to at all very nice.

I think the 3237 is amazing in the photos- yet to see one in person. One was sold recently on the forum.

Congrats! You're not helping my urge to add a silver dial version :D

I tried one on with bracelet and the dial blew me away - the bracelet not so much I think it's perfect on rubber especially for myself who wears everything else on bracelet it's the perfect change of pace for me. I just barely leaned towards the black dial but they're both amazing options and completely different looks from one another.

This movement looks like a 321, original Speedmaster pre-moon.

Big congratulation’s to you!!

I love the men’s Marine model and have had to resist buying it for many years.

For our wedding in 2016, my wife and I decided to buy each other watches rather than more traditional wedding gifts. We decided on Breguet, and searched for some preowned treasures.
Hopefully, I can load photos below, but her ladies Marine is simply stunning! She certainly wears that one, more than her diamond-dialed DD, when real fancy occasions dictate!!

Wear it in good health!!
