The Deepsea has landed!
Just got this in from DavidSW. Fantastic experience. This is actually my first Rolex and I think I made a good choice. I am used to PAMs and Breitlings, so this is right at home on my wrist!
Some quick photos... |

Great watch. When I tried it on, my first impression was "Wow, this is thick!", but now I find myself thinking about it more and more. Your pictures do not help!! Congrats.

One recommendation I can give to those that are debating on it...
The problem with trying this on at an AD is that without a properly sized bracelet, you can't really appreciate how comfortable it is. When I got this home, removedd a couple links and wearing it out today, there is NO reason this can't be a daily wearer. The size is not even noticable if you are used to wearing modern larger watches. |

How do you feel about the bracelet?
I feel like getting one again, but the puny bracelet image keep running through my mind. Sigh... |

There is nothing wrong the bracelet at all. Like I said, if you wear one, you will love it. I don't see how people can appreciate what a watch feels like if they don't try it with the bracelet sized. It's like buying a car you've never driven.
If you are use to wearing a 36mm Explorer, then the DSSD is not for you, end of story. |

Like Zirotti stated, the key to wearing the DSSD is to have it snug on your wrist so it doesn't flop. |
