hello everyone, one of my dad's oldest friend offered me this Rolex, i would like to know the estimate value of this piece, the watch works perfectly fine and i do love the vintage lines of it.
i want to know if its worth send it to polish and restore.

That's an uncommon variant, and it sounds like you really like the watch, so you should buy it. Why not? The case looks very sharp, so personally I would tend to avoid polishing. Perhaps you can just have the movement serviced if you plan to wear it regularly.

i already have the watch, it was a gift to me, well its a bit small for my wrist but i do like it, i will do, i wont use daily but will use it from time to time for sure. let me just ask why dont polish the watch ?

Polishing the watch hurts the value. Collectors these days want watches as close to how they were originally as possible.
