SS Submariner Bezel

Hi Guys,

What is the bezel on a SS sub made from? (M serial)

I know the crown is white gold (partly) and so are the surrounds of the hour markers, but is the bezel also white gold??

SS Sub serrated part of the bezel is steel. The insert is anodized aluminium and the crown is FULL steel - no gold at all.

In the steel/gold model, the serrated part of the bezel is 18 K gold, the insert is still anodized aluminium and the inner crown is steel (that includes the threads naturally - gold threads would crumble with daily use) - the inner steel crown is covered by an 18 K gold MONOBLOC cap.
