This unique watch orientation (90 degree dial) is often called the driver’s watch or the racer’s watch - you don’t need to lift your hands off the steering wheel in order to read the time 😉. Depending on the orientation of your strap, you can wear it either on the left or right wrist. Similar orientation to 45 degree dial Vacheron Constantin 1921 Historique Watch or the 90 degree dial seen in Tiffany & Co. East West Watch.

The case is high-quality and specially machined and custom made for this brand new old stock high-grade Hamilton 917 pocket watch movement and it comes with double AR sapphire crystal front and back (protective stickers still on the crystals). Beautiful onion-shaped crown. Movement fully serviced and in brand new working condition.

Beautiful Hamilton handwind movement to be admired from the transparent sapphire caseback!

Watch is further fully serviced for this sale, pristine condition and working robust and accurately. unworn after service, all original parts.
