Diamonds are a man’s best friend???

GQ magazine recently started a monthly watch column (yet another sign this hobby of ours is spreading). In the latest issue, the column was focused on Rolexes. But a very specific category of Rolexes; factory diamond set models. We’ve all seen some/all of these here or on Instagram, etc...but to see all of these at once in a single photo is quite cool (even if you wouldn’t wear a diamond set Rolex if they paid you). Even more impressive though is that these all belong to a single collector! [Image of the column below.]

That collector has some very rare all factory pieces. Very very impressive that they all belong to a single person.

According to some, diamond encrusted Rolex will get your closer to hard to get references. I’d say that qualifies them as “men’s best friend” as well

I was going to point out the absence of a Platona but nope, there it is. All bases covered then. Anyone else slightly unsettled at how they're all piled together like Blackbeard the pirate's treasure?

Love the DayDate with the Emerald bezel...first noticed it on RF’s wife’s wrist and think it’s stunning!

I don't think diamonds are a man's best friend. Not for me; to each his own.
