If you had to pick... RG DD Anniversary Green Dial or Platinum DD Glacier Dial?

These two watches are on my radar. If you had to pick one, which would you choose to own?

I’d pick the platinum day-date all day (and night)

Both are very beautiful timepiece, but Platinum DD with Glacier Dial is on higher level.

Platinum would be my choice.

Platinum with the motif dial. Tough choice though.

The Platinum may have a more premium metal and higher pricing, but side by side, the RG olive dial knocks it out everytime

Tough. I went with the RG for now but eventually would like to “graduate” to the PT

Rose gold. It is more elegant than platinum.

I’d pick the platinum out of those two because I don’t like green dials or Roman numerals. But RG > all other metal for me, I’d go with a different dial though.

It all depends on what you are going for.

If you want truly stealth wealth and the highest form of it, platinum is the clear choice.

If you have a few steel pieces and want something different, rose gold is your go to.

I do think they are different enough that once you get one, you will want the other. So it may be the question of where you would like to start

Not a fan of green so I would go PT (although I just recently picked up a YG DD).

I've already got the YG DD. I personally am leaning towards Everose gold but enjoy everyone else's thoughts on the platinum

Let me further elaborate... I am basing this between the 36mm 118206 and the 40mm 228235. Does this change anyones thoughts?
