Been on the hunt for a 1600 but any vintage rolex will do :)

In the West Village, there are a few watch repair shops that might sell vintage Rolex. I know there is one on Hudson St (near Morton St) and another on W 10th St (near Hudson St). And if you walk around you should find some other shops in the area... But your best bet is to walk around Midtown, near the Diamond District and near 5th Ave in the upper 50s. That is where the bulk of the dealers are... You should be able to find a 1600 somewhere!

Grahame Fowler in Greenwhich has soom pretty droolworthy pieces. I'd check them out - it's a good one-two punch for general man-phemera. Can't speak as to whether you'll find a 1600, but def a watch or two you'll want to try on.
