pulling the trigger
Well I couldn't hold out any longer, I found a 16610 SS Sub Date "D" s/n. Purchased it from the original owner with all the boxes, books and even the store receipt from the AD. I'll post pix shortly!

Here is an amateur tip, I set my camera on timer and leave it on a tripod or table when taking macro shots as my shaky hands tends to mess up the focus when I smash the button.
For all I know, this could be wrong but it works. |

You got it down pretty pat, MC. Rock steady hand, no light bouncing off the crystal from the back of the camera and "macro" mode. Results should turn out like this!!

Thamks for all the kind words, now if I can just get this macro photography down. I'm really glad this forum is back up and running it's alot more fun and laid back compared to the other one I visited. However, I did find my new acquisition over there and it is also a nice site jut a little more serious than I'm used to.

Thanks Again to all, I'm really enjoying it now for 3 days in a row. Had to go to a company meeting today and the other guys were trying not to be obovious but they were. Got to luv it!! I'm hoping next year will bring me another, possibly a TT Blue, or maybe a GMT II.
