26650TI vs 26589IO

I'm in doubt between the Split Second concept and the green one. Which one would you go with?

Green. Love that one. Not a huge split seconds fan

Split second. This watch is under appreciated at the moment. Both are awesome but split second for me wins.

AP has soo many tourbillon models but very few split seconds.
I would go with the split seconds.

Horribly biased...but was in the same boat over a year ago.

But you should try both and see what fits better. The green Tourbillon is incredibly flat across the board and long so the entire case didn't sit well on my wrist. This was reason alone not to get the Tourbillon.

The Split has a curved case, curved crystal, curved bezel making it a much better fit - feels more RM like. In addition, the split function is superb, the external finishings are top notch, and the easy to use strap system is a big bonus. You also get a big date, and a GMT as well, so functionally, you trade off split vs Tourbillon.

Only downside for the split is the titanium bezel, which you need to be a little more careful with not to beat up - but replacement costs are not crazy.

Good luck!

As Pfang says above, it fits so much better than you expect. I feel it hugs my wrist better than the 43mm offshores. Can’t speak on the Tourb Concept though.
