Rolex 6105 please some help

Hello guys, I am looking for some information about this watch beside the info I got from Google...

I was wondering if someone knows about why this watch has this type of crown. Other similar watches has other type of crown.

And can anyone tell the value of this item. Approximately of course.

Thank you very much for interesting in this thread.

Cya.

.
The crown was replaced along the way. It should have come originally with a bubble back crown, like the Super Oyster.

Prices are all over the map, you can check for asking-selling prices on Ebay / Chrono..

Hello, thanks for your answer.
I thought replacement could be a possibility. I have seen this crown in other similar year watches. But I don have many knowledge in this topic.

Thanks again.

In general, these large bubble-back models are quite desirable and can be valuable. This particular watch has some serious condition issues, however. I wouldn't recommend buying it, TBH.

Welcome to TRF.
This is not the bubbleback you'd want if you value originality.

Agree with another post above, check the internet sales on Chrono24 and eBay...

Here's some pictures of mine, the 6105 imo is a really cool piece.
