Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi First Impressions (Video)
Hi Guys!
So we finally got what Rolex was cooking up for us. Here's my video featuring some video footage of the new GMT Master 2 - 126710 BLRO and my thoughts... should I flip my BLNR for this? Thoughts! Enjoy ROLEX GMT MASTER 2 PEPSI (126710BLRO) FIRST LOOK |

Nice video. I say keep the BLNR.
My big issues are the bezel colors still being off with more of a light red and purple. Also I heard the lug changes were to make it so the 116710 oyster bracelet won't fit the 126710 endlinks. I like the option of a jubilee but I think the oyster bracelet looks best on a GMT. I think they nailed the blue on the BLNR. It looks perfect and the contrast with the black is just right. I think the 16710 BLRO is still the king of Pepsi's. Sent from my VS996 using Tapatalk

Nicely done! I'd stay put with the BLNR but to each his own.

I never like the jubilee on sports watches. I know most guys don't agree with me.
The Pepsi is OK with an oyster bracelet, though. |

Since you were there, what's your opinion on the lugs?
- Do you think the Pepsi GMT lugs are thinner? - Is the new jubilee slightly wider? (eg. 21mm) |

I prefer the BLNR as a GMT watch because I think blue/black is a better representation of day/night than red/blue.

I agree, as well. It's a moot point, but I still wonder if a blue-and-black bezel were the tradition on older models, and there had never been a Pepsi before, what people would be making of this new release.

Any watch with a grape and cranberry insert can't be all bad. Maybe it should be called a GRCA to be truer to its colors (grain de raisin - canneberge) instead of BLRO.

Sorry I edited my post. Cause it's the insert that's those colors.
