SS GMT IIc on Alligator Strap!

Hey Guys,

Some of you may know I just bought my GMT IIc at Heathrow airport a few days ago. Well I thought it would be nice to try something different and put the GMT IIc on a black alligator Strap. So today while walking around Manhattan I went into a Rolex dealer and checked out some straps.. and ended up with this one...

What do you think?

That's kind of nice! How does it feel compared to the bracelet?

it feels more snug compared to the bracelet and I'm less worried about scratching the bottom on metal surfaces, i.e. when typing on a laptop :)

I'm a huge fan of black straps with steel watches....that looks great to me. When I read the title of your post I thought the IIc might be a bit bulky for a strap but I gotta say it looks right to me.

Tones the thing down a bit you know. One of the issues I have with the new GMT is that it REALLY stands out and sometimes I get a bit self conscious about that type of thing.

I normally hate straps, but I have to admit that it looks really nice.

I like it...especially with the white stitching. Do you mind if I ask you what brand and how much you paid for it....you can pm me if you don't want to advertise the price

Straps on a super case stainless watch...hmmmmm.

Look nice...of course...it's a Rolex.

Daytona on strap, Sub on NATO, but not this one.

Just me...

I'm not too sure about the block case with that strap for me.

Looks great to me. Rolex on a strap is a nice touch and changes the appearance of your watch. Thanks for sharing.

Looks good. I posted a question last week about putting a gator or croc band on the GMT II. Glad to see one and it looks better than I thought.

I would also like to know how much you paid for it. Please PM if you do not want to share in the open forums.
