Can you pick up an SD43 for me? I'll get you back later.

I think you will be ok. Their snotty attitude will turn you off and you will find a better AD to spend your money..

Out of all of the boutiques and AD's I have ever been to for any brand, I have had the worst experiences at that particular store.

Have fun browsing though.

Before I went to Rolex, I stopped by the AD I usually shop at. The manager told me what I was looking for (SS Dayton, white) had a 6 month wait. I continued on to Rolex, where they told me the wait was 2 years. At Rolex, he also told me they were getting $20K for 'em. I'd probably buy a white gold at retail before I paid $8K over retail for SS. Anyway, 2 doors down was Omega....they've got some nice units too. The trip would've been a total bust had I not picked up an awesome Meisterstuck briefcase.

Ha! Man, those are my two favorite shops there. If you went and got coffee at Nordstrom, and then perused the shoes...you may actually be my twin.

Love those briefcases. I want the big one. But ..oof, too much for me right now.
And, basically, my briefcase has become nothing more than a really big lunchbox.

I actually bought the small one. I find the bigger my case, the more I cart back and forth for no reason. My advice.......treat yourself.

You’re right! And, maybe I will get the slimmer one. Good point.
Not to hijack the thread, but I would love to see a pic!
Thanks for the inspiration.

Only six months for a white Daytona? And two years just down the road? Also a boutique selling over list? I have so many questions.

Don't get me wrong, was just surprised by the salespeople's different approaches. Thought would have been the opposite, with Rolex selling at list and with shorter waiting periods than the AD. Btw. sounds like a nice AD you have there, in Daytonaland, 6 months is pretty close to awesome.

Right. Well, it's all just talk until they actually get one in. 6 months may turn to 12 months, 2 years may turn to 3 years. Personally, I don't line up to spend my money, so I'll never know how long it's really going to take. I sure as hell am not paying $20K for a $12K watch. If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll give the AD who is claiming 6 months and you can try your luck.

Be careful with the blonde lady with the terrible attitude, worst experience I have had at an AD, she is terrible. I walked out and never came back. This is one of the ADs that think snobbery and attitude go with the Rolex lifestyle.

I just posted the same thing without even seeing your post. I'm glad I'm not the only one, I really wasn't expecting it especially walking in with a Hulk. She basically yanked the watch from my hands after I had tried it on when she found out I wasn't buying it and ran to the next customer that had just walked in.

I didn't notice a blonde on my visit. I know the type you're talking about though. I will tell you that I was treated with dignity and respect by the salesman I spoke with, which I appreciated.

That shop has always been very nice to me. And I was a lurker for years before I finally bought... then I bought another.... then another. All from them.
Sorry you had a bad experience. That is a drag.
