How to identify Mid-size Royal Oak References 4100, 14332, 14486, 14700 & 14790
Hi all, with the dramatic rise in popularity of the mid-size Royal Oak over the past number of years I wanted to share a high level visual checklist, that I use myself, to help identify the different models.
In this article you can find out how to identify the difference between references 4100, 14332, 14486, 14700 & 14790. I hope you find it useful. All the best, Ben. https://www.watchbrotherslondon.com/...86-14700-14790 |

Great resource, very useful!
It’s been a really difficult area with not much written on. I struggled when buying my 4100, this would have helped a lot |

Are date wheels commonly replaced during service? I saw a two-tone 14486 for sale that had a white date wheel instead of a gold-tone one.

Only if needed to be. You can pick up the correct gold date wheel relatively easily from trusted parts sellers on eBay and Instagram. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great article! Do you know if it is a problem when the date wheel does not perfectly align centered within the window, like the 14486 pictured in that article? And do all references with seconds hack?
