Just got the call!!

Just added my second piece! A ND Sub 114060. I know Rolex is gonna release a sub with a new movement in September. But honestly I could care less. I think it looks great next to my DJ 41

Congrats, awesome pickup! Did you have to wait long to get or fortuitous timing with a local AD?

Have the same! I know the owner of the biggest local Rolex dealer and they said this watch if going to grow so much in value! The no date won’t come out for a year or 2.

Crazy luck. I called on Tuesday to my AD letting them know that I was looking to get this watch. They called me yesterday telling me that one came in but I didnt feel given the situation with COVID-19 that it was right buying right now. I called back today and said if it was still there that I would come pick it up. Luckily no one jumped on it. I am assuming people are waiting for the new subs that are coming out in September.

Announcement in Sept MAY BE sub with new movement. Note, announcement, not "coming out." I suspect that will take a while, and the new movement is new, but not necessarily better. I have a 114060 and have no issue with the 3135 in it. You will love the watch you have.

Too many signs .. 10 years in production already. Fat lugs compared with others in the lineup that needs to be trimmed. Old movement that no other new model is using ..

I saw you're selling the DJ already...that would be a solid two watch collection to cover all the bases.

If there is a new Sub announced, you won’t lose anything to it. This is a wonderful and well proven dive watch.
In fact, you’ll be able to gloat because we all know how crazy people get with speculation on discontinued watches.

Very nice set, huge congrats.
