Lug crack??
Hi everyone! Was hoping to get opinions on this spot near the front lug. Normal for a vintage watch? Any concerns I should have with that?

Looks like normal scratches from bracelet and strap swapping.

I’d be more concerned about the tip of the lug. What the heck is going on there?!?
Those “cracks” could just be scratches from a spring bar tool. But the lug itself looks very strangely damaged. |

Most likely just an impact dent with a few spring bar removal scratches. But, I would like to see the other side of that lug to make sure.

Some people place the springbar right there with downward force. The. Use a screwdriver to depress the tips. The tips and the screwdriver gouge the lug. My old technique !

That is OK if you put tape on the lugs first
