New Czapeks

Looks like 2 new Antarctiques, both with adventurine dials. Not 100% clear the difference, and the website doesn't seem to explain it that well (well, at least it's hard to tell without a careful read....I couldn't really find an explanation).

I believe one has a white sparkly adventurine dial, and the other one is sort of mult-colored sparkly???

They look nice though. Comes in the "regular" 40.5mm case and the "S" sized 38.5mm. Everything else looks pretty similar to the base Antarctique.

I still can’t help but feel I’d rather just buy a used Royal Oak when I see these.

Depends on which RO. I like the 15202 over the Czapek, even if the 39mm size is a bit dainty. But the rest of the RO models are chunky in comparison to the Czapek. I considered both before buying, but the Czapek won out because it wears nicer and looks better on my wrist.

Full disclaimer, I haven't tried on the new 15510, which I understand to be thinner than its recent predecessors... Though its double the cost of a Czapek.

I feel there are different target purchasers and audiences for these. The RO says "Look at me!" to passers by, the Czapek says "Look at me!" to its wearer...

Sexy.

40.5mm with diamond markers is pretty cool IMO.

Idk, people may not know the brand but the watch sparkles on wrist just as much as a RO

You're right. Aventurine sparkles aren't subtle.

I’m slightly confused here on pricing. Isn’t a day date diamond dial like 6k more. Is czapek charging 20k more? Whoa

Some people are not into the RO aesthetic. I am one of those people. There's something about the way AP has overdone the RO in all its various forms that has been kind of a turn off, at least to me.

The Black Panther, the Spider Man, the Equalizer models, and the Offshores in general....it's a bit too much.

Apologies for owners, but there is a bit of a a-hole factor with ROs nowadays.

Oh, I figured out that the Flying Diamonds are the same as the Polar Sky except with diamond with diamond indicies and the ability to bling it out more that way.

Yeah and the lack of the minute track on the diamond indices dial. Also apparently the shape of the diamonds are unique to Czapek which is quite cool, dont think I have seen these shapes before, usually you only get baguette style marks or round diamond markers.

Pretty cohesive design overall

Definitely, but Rolex is like that too and it won't stop me from enjoying either brand.

And, this is really funny, but the last 2 times my wife and I heard someone having an insane argument at a restaurant, it was a dude wearing an Offshore
