Every Rolex chronograph reference ever made
Here's my attempt to coherently list every Rolex chronograph reference ever made, categorized, with pics and diameters. If I've missed any models or gotten anything wrong, please let me know!
Monopusher pocket watches: 1223 43.5mm 2226 47mm 3068 48.5mm 6372 43mm Circular monopusher wristwatches: 2021 39mm 2023 32mm 2303 28mm 2507 30mm 3462 29mm (simplistic seconds-only chrono function, no subdials) Cushion-case monopusher wristwatches: 1074 32mm 1219 33mm 2022 33mm 2057 32mm Circular two-button, two-register non-Oysters: 2508 37mm 2705 38mm 2811 32mm 2917 33mm with stepped hooded lugs 2918 33mm with flexible hooded lugs 2920 33mm with flexible lugs 3055 30mm "Piccolino" 3082 32.5mm with flexible lugs 3233 31.5mm "Moneta" 3484 33mm 3834 38mm 3666 35.5mm 3997 36.5mm 4062 36mm with teardrop lugs 4099 35mm with shaped lugs 4100 35mm Rectangular two-button, two-register non-Oysters: 3529 25mm 3830 30mm 8206 29mm Two-register Oysters: 3181 29mm "Baby Chronograph" 3481 29mm with engine-turned bezel 3525 35mm (The first Oyster chronograph) 3668 35mm "Monoblocco" 3695 36mm 4500 36mm 6032 37mm 6232 36.5mm Three-register non-Oysters: 3330 37mm 3335 38mm 3827 33mm 3835 34mm with stepped lugs 4313 37mm with teardrop lugs 9162 36mm with teardrop lugs Three-register Oysters (pre-Cosmograph): 4048 35.5mm "Barilotto" 4537 36mm 5034 35mm 6034 36mm 6234 36mm 6238 36mm (While the term "Pre-Daytona" gets thrown around a lot for any non-Cosmograph Rolex chrono, to me the 6238 is the only true "Pre-Daytona." The 6238 was the first Rolex chronograph to feature contrasting subdials, although most dials were monochrome. It was made from 1960-1967.) Dato-compax models (chronographs with triple calendar, known as "Jean-Claude Killy" models) 4767 36mm 4768 35mm 5036 36mm 6036 35mm 6236 36mm Other/special chronographs: 2737 36mm Regulator chronograph 8237 36mm chronograph with triple calendar and moonphase (the most complicated mechanical Rolex ever) 3346 32mm Centregraph/Zerographe (first Rolex with a rotating bezel, although some were also made with a fixed bezel) 4113 44mm Rattrapante (split-seconds), an estimated 12 made 4-digit Cosmographs/Daytonas (1963-1986, roughly 37.5mm diameter): 6239 1963-1969 (first Cosmograph, first tachymeter bezel. Non-screwdown pushers. 6239's after 1966 have a slightly different case shape) 6240 1965-1969 (first screwdown pushers, only available in steel) 6241 1965-1969 (non-screwdown pushers, same as 6239 but with bakelite bezel) 6262 1969-1970 (non-screwdown pushers) 6263 1971-1988 (screwdown pushers) 6264 1969-1972 (non-screwdown, same as 6262 but with bakelike bezel) 6265 (same as 6263 but with metal bezel) 6269 Mid-1980's (with diamond bezel) 6270 Mid-1980's (with baguette diamond bezel) 5-digit Daytonas (1988-2000, roughly 40mm diameter) 16516 (prototype, only about 5 made) 16518 16519 16520 16523 16528 16559 SACO "Pre-Leopard Daytona" 16568 BR, 16568 EMRO 16588 SAFU 16589 BR, 16589 RUBI, 16589 SAPH 16598 EM 16599 SAPH 6-digit Daytonas (2001+, roughly 40mm diameter) 116500, 116520 116503, 116523 116505 116506 116508, 116528 116509 116515 116518 116519 116568 116576 TBR 116578 SACO 116588 TBR, 116588 SACO, 116588 SARO 116589 BRIL, 116589 RBR, 116589 SACI, 116589 SALV 116595 RBOW 116598 SACO "Leopard Daytona," 116598 RBOW "Rainbow Daytona" 116599 12SA, 116599 4RU, 116599 RBR, 116599 TBR, 116599 RBOW Unconfirmed references These are references that are sometimes listed as Rolex chronograph references on the web, but I couldn't find/confirm any of these. No evidence/pics available whatsoever: 3036, 3635, 4352, 7131, 7132, 8180 Possible typo: 3642 is probably a mislabeled 3462 References that exist but aren't chronographs: 3085, 3333, 3735, 4311, 4332 Note that ref. 4100 is apparently a chronograph and an unrelated Cellini, so I suppose it's possible that some of these references are also ultra-rare early chronograph models. Acknowledgements: Thanks to VintageDaytona.com, Bob's Watches, and Collector Square; they were all extremely useful resources. |

I overlooked the 3371 reference, another two-register non-Oyster:
3371 35mm with thin straight lugs And here are all the new Daytona references: #1265xx Daytonas (2023+, roughly 40mm diameter) 126500 126503 126505 126506 126508 126509 126515 126518 126519 126576 TBR (Diamond bezel, off-catalog 2023 release) 126598 TRU (Ruby bezel, off-catalog 2023 release) 126599 TRU (Ruby bezel, off-catalog 2023 release) |

41mm Watches
Hi, I'm looking to buy my first Rolex, and from what I've seen I'm a fan of the Two-tone 41mm datejust. I'm finding it difficult to find one available in my price range and wondered if there was perhaps suggestions on options for 41mm similar Rolex.

I've only recently started researching but it seems you've forgotten the sub-references (not sure that's officially what it's known as)

Seeing the progression of the complications is pretty interesting to me. From what looks like being drawn on complications to actual mechanical functions is amazing
