Submariner 116618LN Diamond Dial
Hi Considering buying a Yellow Gold Submariner with Black Diamond Dial 116618LN
I have been assured it’s a factory dial and Not an after market dial. Comes complete with box and papers. Problem is I can’t seem to find any for sale and just wanted to know if Rolex Released this Model in a Black Diamond dial… I have seen a few in Blue but Not in black. If anyone can help that would be much appreciated.. |

Yes, Rolex made the Submariner 116613 black and flat blue dial with diamond dials and the 116618 all gold with either black or flat blue dial. Also the 116619 was available with flat blue diamond dial. Earlier versions had this option. Which serial does your example start with, M, V? I own a V 116613LN and 116619 with diamond dial. Used to own a 116613 LB with diamond dial but sold it.

Ok so the serial starts with N, also just to reiterate it’s a 116618LN with a Diamond dial because you mentioned the 116619.
Thanks |

So it’s a N serial. And to confirm it’s an all yellow gold 116618LN on a Diamond Dial.

Serial doesn’t say much. I know people have been upgrading their watch with an original Rolex diamond dial.

N serial as in random sequence of 8 digits between numbers and letters? Or N plus 6 numbers? In the first case, that would be a modern 6 digit submariner random serial with a production estimate after 2011. In the second case, it would be a five digit 16618 from approx 1991.

So it’s actually N followed by 7 numbers and the purchase date on the card is end of 2016.

The warrant should say diamond somewhere on the card and the serial engraved in the Rehaut
and on the card need to match. Ask for a pic of the card with the serial number on it as well as a pic of the rehaut |

You say it, "Comes complete with box and papers." Is the little white plastic hang tag included? If so, get the FULL reference number from that tag and then do a Google search with that number. The FULL reference number will reveal the material (e.g., full gold or two-tone), the bracelet, the bezel, and the dial.

So the card dose not say Diamonds on it but the serial on the watch matches the serial on the card..
Also No white swing tag unfortunately. Thank you both |
