BLNR spot in bezel
I just got my new Gmt and I love it.
But is it just me or is there clearly a dark spot in the 12 o clock triangle, on the bezel? According to the AD it's normal but it sure doesn't look normal to me. Any thoughts? |

There is slight discoloration but it could be a greasy smudge. Try a dab of rubbing alcohol ... Mine just suffer from permanent smudging...

I agree with Carlos.
I've seen this more than once on the GMT bezels but was gone after a wash or wipe down. See what happens... Otherwise, it's not something I would worry about. It's probably only noticeable in certain lighting / angles. |

It's quite normal. The bezel is inlaid with platinum and the 12 triangle shows smudges, but because it's recessed the smudges only show up in the centre.
Hand soap and a toothbrush will get rid of it, but it'll come back eventually. |

It's normal. I''ve owned three GMT's and they all have been the same. Most pics I see they have it. There are other threads on this

Thanks for all the replies!
Shame it's normal, guess I'll have to live with it then. |

This is normal on most GMT2c ceramic inserts. It happens on the gold ones as well. Not sure why.

I've seen that too...except it seems to me more so on the 713 and 718 bezels. Don't think it's anything to worry about.
FWIW, I've looked at my 719 bezel and don't see it. |
