The "twin sixty" is cool as well as the Cosmonaute in the navitimer class.
In the other area I would say that my favorite has been the Superocean chrono blue dial/ silver subials. The Super Avenger is pretty sweet too. |

6 months ago I sold my Breitling Steelfish. I don`t regret it, because a sub came out of it all.. But now I really want a Seawolf with yellow dial for diving purpose.
And add a black OEM Ocean Racer rubber strap |

If its vintage, I say 806 Navi. If its new, I'd go for the B01...

After looking at many I decided for this one:
I think going forward the one to have is the B01 just because of the in house movement.

That's clean, and simple. I do like it, but would opt for a Submariner instead of that model. After looking at the bezel insert, it lacks a little detail. The hour hand is a little sharp for the simplistic watch. That's just me.
There are many Breitlings out there that have the aviator and military look that I desire. Some have quartz movements that are a "RED X" in my book. Not that th watch doesn't work great, but for the price, I think a completely automatic movement is in order. The battery shouldn't be an option if your spending more than $300 on a watch. Of course the Bentley line is extremely pricey, the Avenger Skyland is a hard core watch, and can be had for $2,200 lightly used. Breitling drops in value a little too fast, so buy lightly used, and wear it for 25 years. Don't invest in that brand. I hope my wife gets me one someday! |

If its gonna be your only Breitling, it should be
the one that is classic Breitling to you. The exception on this to me would be the new B01 with inhouse movement. My decision in the same ... ... I went with a classic Chronomat. |

There is no quintessential Breitling!
Chrono Avenger in Ti is their best model, the old discontinued version in 44mm |
