Watch Check - Rolex 16030
Hi All:
I'm interested to see if anything looks out of place on this Rolex Datejust from the 80's. These are the only pictures, so mostly concerned about any comments on the boxes. I know better pictures of the watch are necessary. I may be seeing it later today. Right now, any concerns about the boxes? Thanks |

Cool info
You never fail to amaze me https://www.google.es/search?q=ROLEX...Y1dGp1ldArY-M: From the internet The box you are asking about is a Bufkor, USA made, box and was used during the late 1970's until around 1980 when a new style Bufkor box replaced it. It is not counterfeit and additionally, I have never seen this box counterfeited.

Thanks for the comments crowncollection. In researching Bufkor boxes, it appears there are "larger scale" and "finer scale" box types - depending on time period.
From my photos, it appears there may be a large scale inner box and a finer scale outer box. I won't know until I see in in person. Thanks for the comments. |
