I humbly come to you with my MilSub article
TRFers,
I mentioned in another thread that I was putting together a MilSub article for Gear Patrol, and it just published today. http://gearpatrol.com/2014/03/18/ico...ry-submariner/ Please take a look and let me know how I did. There's a lot of bad and good info out there, and I did my best to wade through one and gather the other. Cheers |

Did a quick read and you left a good impression. Facts were not dry stats and your colorful style showed. Overall, a very well written piece. Thanks for asking for opinions.

Thanks much. I'm a huge Rolex fan, but taking on this article was intimidating. It was originally part of a larger MOD watch article, but we're breaking it out separately. Hopefully the larger article is released in the near future.

Interesting piece. Should that be 'seller' not 'selling' about halfway down?

Great article, I enjoyed it immensely.
Now if I could only find me a MIL Sub.

Good article! And Mike Wood has what, 4 or 5 of the remaining 180?

Thanks, all!
We actually just posted another interesting Rolex article about the hybrid Explorer/GMT Master made for Oliver Shepard for the Transglobe Expedition. Under the sea, broken up into pieces, buried in the sand, at the bottom of footlockers stowed away in the attic, you name it!

Thank you Shane.
I was unaware that only 180 Milsubs are known to exist? Surprised as Mike Wood posted a picture some 2 months ago of 7 or 8 Milsubs together? He has certainly cornered the market. |

Excellent article! Enjoyed reading it.
I have an SD4k and one of the aspects I really appreciate about it is the homage to the MilSub with the 60-minute bezel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
