Those who are on the list for a Pepsi...

IF they discontinue it, and let's say they don't immediately replace it with a Coke. What would be your backup pick among the current GMT offerings, or would you ask for a non-GMT?

I already have the BLNR, also on the list for Pepsi. If I don't get it before discontinuing, I think I'll just move on to another GMT.

But if I didn't have the BLNR, I'd probably ask for that, or the CHNR or GRNR two tones. I guess I'm one of those weirdos that thinks the TT GNRN is really cool.

I'm not asking for me, I'm curious what others are planning on doing.

Really odd how the GRNR is unloved around the world. Considering the popularity and that you already have the BLNR I believe the CHNR should be next on your list after the Pepsi.

It depends on what you really want. If you merely settle for something else it is unlikely to end well.

I agree. Get the watch you want regardless of what it is. Don't settle.

Unfortunately Grey is the way, it is for a lot of us on here especially on a BLRO.

If I really wanted one, I’d consider getting it now. I’m in IL. MSRP+tax is ~12k. Grey prices for oyster are 17-18k. Prices have come down a lot on these and the premium is a bit more reasonable than it has been imo.

Why would they discontinue the BLRO? Internet speculation at best. Anything can happen but I doubt it. If you want the watch then look at our Trusted Sellers and pick up the phone and make some calls. Negotiate and get your best price, pay and have the watch by lunch the next day. The price difference, while not insignificant, is not enough now to dissuade me. I own both the BLRO and the BLNR and they are quite the pair. Go for it and don't look back.

This watch has been around since 1959. I’m not worried about it getting discontinued.

Owning both, you can flip a coin between the BLNR or BLRO and be just as happy with either as your one and only GMT.

Can you even get a GRNR from an AD. I am sure it's a year or more for most people, if they are lucky.
