Rolex/Watch Collection Complete

I promised myself long ago I would be done once I had a dozen watches.
Why? Heck if I know. Just seemed like a good number.
Now that I’m there, I’m actually very pleased.
At 65, having lost a kidney recently and worried about remaining one, time to enjoy what I have worked hard for and continue with traveling and seeing the world rather than fund a crazy hobby.
It’s been a fun journey.
Numerous grandchildren will someday soon be getting some of these, while I’m still alive. Recently gifted a Breitling Superocean Heritage II to my son in law to make room for the DJ.

OP, I lost a kidney to cancer over 10 years ago. I just turned 67 and I'm active as hell. I dive, fish, shoot, hunt, ride a motorcycle, no problems. Just stay on top of your blood pressure and hang in there.

Stunning collection!! Not a dig in any way but may I ask why keep both LV subs? Assuming you like how the green wears? The rest of your collection has such great variety and range I can only assume you must have a soft spot for green.

Thanks for sharing it with us!

Wow! That’s an awesome collection. Your grandkids are lucky. In August, I will become a Grandma again, for the 15th time, so that generation will have to look to their parents for any Rolexes. I will just worry about my own kids.

Thank you!
Seems there are lots of us running on one.
I monitor BP twice daily and ironically, spiked up badly this morning.
I have Clonidine to take when that happens but fortunately not a common occurrence.
Dr. Tells me I have level 1, bordering on 2 kidney disease on remaining one. So far, no need for any meds for it. Fingers crossed.

The two LV are alike bezel wise but so different other than that.
While I prefer the fit and feel of the newer 41, that Hulk dial is mesmerizing.
The DD is as result of wife. I really wanted the chocolate dial and she talked me out of it and insisted I get the olive.

Congrats on a beautiful and tasteful collection!

Although some might say these are merely "material objects", in many ways they represent so much more. When viewing your collection, I can only help but feel, "wow, this is a man of accomplishment, who has style and class". More importantly, it is also clear that you have the most important valuables in life: an appreciation for life and good health, your time, your loved ones and family, and your legacy through your children and grandchildren. Cheers
