Anyone have a watch repair kit?
Looking for something to resize a bracelet or perform minor fixes myself. Has anyone purchased a nice watch repair kit they would recommend and have any tips, pointers or advice? Much appreciated.

Would recommend purchasing individual tools to suit your needs, not a “kit”.

You don't need a whole kit. Just get some individual but quality tools. The best place to get these are from Esslinger. I have a set of micro-screwdrivers, pin tweezers, watch base, tape protector, and the bergeon dual tip pin press (or something like that). More tools that I need. .

Kits are cheap, but the tools are crappy. Get individual pieces and I’d strongly recommend Bergeon.
You should get a set of jewelers screwdrivers, spring bar tool (forked prong at one end, straight pusher at the other), and a spring bar tweezer. Also recommend a magnifying visor. They look tremendously dorky, but I never touch a tool to a watch without it on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All you need is basically:
Screwdriver: https://www.esslinger.com/horofix-sc...tips-included/ Tweezers (spring bar tool): https://www.esslinger.com/bergeon-78...-bar-tweezers/ OR: https://www.esslinger.com/premium-sp...-removal-tool/ Spring Bar tool (alternative): https://www.esslinger.com/bergeon-77...ring-bar-tool/ Loctite 222: https://www.esslinger.com/loctite-th...-low-strength/ I might be missing something but the above are the basics

Esslinger, Olfrei have nice stuff. Id buy stuff as needed. You’ll get a bunch of stuff you probably already have or don’t really need in a kit.
