New Daytona Model!

Just kidding.

Although after seeing the YM II and some other new models... It would not surprise me all that much.

Can't be real as it's missing the "DAY TONA II" in large gold lettering on the bezel.....

I don't know JJ. The YMII is actually beginning to grow on me. Unfortunately they all are except for the new dials for the DJ, DD and AK.

Well, Frank...

I can just about accept almost everything about the new YM-II except for that 0~10 horseshoe-circle on the DIAL and its actual functions which are totally useless to 99.99% of us.

Yes, the hands too - very thin and looks like they are skeletal - not solid.

JJ

I agree without that 1-10 on the actual dial, this might be a nice looking watch, And no lume on the hands? WTF?

I think the Q in RQLEX and the 6 pointed crown really give it a certain uniqueness.......

Better than the YM II though

Ok I have to say something about the YM II its killing me. I know yes if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything but….

That watch looks so bad that it reminds me of some imitation knock off out of China from the mid 80s that some punk in New York tries to sell you on the streets out of a brief case. My G - - how does one design something like that and get the directors of Rolex to sign off on production? And release it thinking it will sell? I just don't understand it does not even look classy, elegant, or sporty its just there taking up matter.
If I was given one I would pray that I could even trade it for a no date explorer, of course I would probably have to through some cash in on the deal as well, or wait until the interested party was so drunk that he/she did not know what they were doing. I see this watch going out as quickly as it arrived.

I've always wanted a 'Rerpetual' T-Swiss-T watch w/no lume and mounted in a 40's Electrolux "Rocketeer" hemet case.
