Speedmaster '57 clasp on 321 bracelet
I saw someone comment on YT video at some point that alluded to this being possible.
So stopped by my Omega AD this past weekend to have a look, take some measurements and actually try this out. Of course I'm interested because the '57 clasp has push button quick adjust functionality. And turns out - it will work! Slightly larger clasp but otherwise looks exactly like the 321 clasp. They're currently trying to find the part number and will then order. Swatch group had issues with their ordering system for the last few weeks but sounds like things have come back online recently. If anyone else is interested, I'll circle back with the part number. To be clear, this isn't a half measure like some were doing with the 3861 and Chronoscope clasp. It's a direct swap and the only caveat is the '57 clasp is slightly larger. |

Agree! I typically don’t even consider watches without a quick adjust because of how my wrist swells. But the 321 is special. And if this works as tested it’ll be damn perfect!

Well luckily I could get a very good fit of the 321 bracelet. But it's still to have a quick adjust in place.

Interesting information
Does the quick adjust clasp provide for about 2-3 mm of adjustment? I’m not 100% sure I’d do it to mine as I just love the clasp profile and the beauty of how it integrates into the bracelet. That said, I do wish it had some on the fly adjustment. Subscribed . |

Quick follow up.
Part number is 117STZ015404 and it's $202. BUT. ADs nor Omega boutiques can place orders still. Like, they can't order anything. And it's apparently been like this for weeks. They can only sell what they have in their stores. If it's not in store and isn't already in route, it cannot currently be ordered. Sounds completely insane but I've confirmed with two boutiques and my AD. |

Just to add to this- The '57 clasp will also fit on the Apollo 11 50th anniversary flat-link bracelet, but the links that connect from bracelet to clasp have to be swapped as well.

I’m still not sure I’d mess with the OG clasp on the 321. I mean it has the vintage logo which ties nicely into the applied dial marker and the overall heritage aspect of this piece. That said, I had considered having one extra hole drilled into the clasp for great adjustment …. I chickened out of that too EDIT: how much adjustment does the 57 clasp give you? |

Adjustment offered is the same as the new 3861/Professional bracelet - single push button style adjustment offering 2-3mm. |

To follow up on this. I bought a 57 clasp last year but ran into the issue of not being able to buy the links that connected the clasp to the bracelet. I would love some more adjustability to the bracelet...

And also, STILL cannot place parts orders - or any Omega orders. My AD said "systems" should be updated and orders can be placed again, starting tomorrow. |

Speedmaster '57 clasp on 321 bracelet

Decided to order the 57 clasp, now waiting delivery: Have the 50th anniversary Speedy bracelet (020STZ011626) on my 3861 sapphire:. Will try to install it on the bracelet and report compatibility.

If you mean case end links am using the OEM ones with 1.6 MM springbars:
Ordered Forstner end links as they provide a better fit based on what have read, waiting for their arrival. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Got today the Speedmaster 57 clasp:
It is longer than the 50th anniversary clasp, extra length to accommodate the 2 position pushbutton: The clasp arm assemblies are exactly the same length, but the shape of the 57 arm that close against the clasp is different as shown below (on top) to clear the push button : The arm of the 57 clasp is about 1 MM wider, so it won’t fit into the 50th anniversary bracelet interconnecting link groove without modifications: Also note the shape of the head of the pin that goes into the clasp when lock in the closed position is different (tip of the 50th is round, 57 is more flat): Here you can see the difference in width of the 57 arm versus the groove on the 50th interconnecting link: I installed the extending arm of the 50th clasp into the 57 clasp and it does fit, but then it is pretty hard to close the clasp as the shape of the arm collides with the inner push button so won’t work properly. This means the 57 clasp would not work as a direct swap into the 50th bracelet by itself. If someone could source the interconnecting link from the 57 bracelet (shaded in yellow below) you could swap it with the 50th interconnecting link and should work without modifications: But that part has been discontinued by Omega The other option is to shave either the 50th anniversary interconnecting link or the Speedy 57 clasp arm approximately 1 MM so that they fit together. I will inquire with Omega if the interconnecting link for the 50th bracelet can be ordered. If available will probably order one and shave it to fit the 57 clasp arm; if not will probably shave the arm of the 57 clasp. Stay tuned! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

That sounds awesome! Having the push button quick adjust functionality on the 321 bracelet would be a great upgrade. Thanks for sharing your findings, and definitely let us know the part number once you get it. I'm sure others will find this info helpful!
