Your thoughts on the Bluesy?

The longer I look at the offering of the Rolex models I believe the Bluesy is one of the most iconic Rolex models on the market. I love the sunburst dial and the blend of the gold and stainless silver bracelet really compliments the watch which leads to believe this is very difficult to surpass . Maybe I am bias but think this is one of the best watches that are on the market. I have tried other Rolex models but always revert to type.

Beautiful watch, looks amazing in the case

For me on the wrist just too flashy. Love it in photos, just not something I would wear

I love the Bluesy, for me TT enhances all Rolex and gives them the additional presence they deserve. The sunburst dial takes the Bluesy to another level.

One of my favorites. Too flashy for me to actually buy and wear in public. Looks like an Invicta.

I love the Bluesy, but I have a TT Daytona and my first Rolex was a TT YM, so I already have enough TT for me. I also have an 114060, so the only other sub I’m interested in adding as a 116610LV (maybe).

I got one this summer. It grew on me. It's now my favorite watch, probably my favorite Rolex ever.

The most iconic TT watch and one of the most iconic Rolex’s for a reason. One of Archie Luxury’s favorites...the Bluuuuseeeyyyy. Love my other watches, but when you own a bluesy others become a little boring.

They should have never discontinued the flat blue dial. Definitely the one to own.

Love my 16613 bluesy, had it 14 years now. Great watch, not flashy in my opinion, just a great looking watch.

Love that version as well, the cool thing about the new dial is at various angles it also looks flat blue!

They work well for me; Personally prefer a bluesy/LB over a 116613LN.

I didn't used to like it but it's grown exponentially on me. Every time I see photos, especially the flat blue, it stirs something for me. Between this and a chnr it'd be a tough call for me if presented at the same time.

Like it ... on other people. I love flashy watches and a lot say for this reason they don’t like this particular model but every time I try it on it just doesn’t work for me can’t put my finger on it. Too much going on for me I think. Really thinks it does it a dis service where they have taken away the gold text on the new model.

Considered the PM version so many times but something has always just trumped it.

I do own the black dial version though.

I think it is the most beautiful TT in the Rolex stable. It doesn't sing to everybody, but if it sings to you it will reward you every time you put it on. It's the only 12 series Sub Date that I think Rolex truly nailed, and it's the one they changed the least. I guess I'm biased. But happily so.

it’s a nice watch, but not the usual suspects when it comes to “iconic Rolex” discussion, i would start that conversation with SS Daytona, followed by SS Sub, SS GMT, SS Sea-dweller, and maybe Explore

Just purchased the 126613LB while on vacation in the USVI. It is a fantastic piece, very well balanced, finally. As others have stated here, it is and has been one of the most iconic Rolex watches for a reason. The slimmer lugs are beautiful. The blue sunburst dial has a lot of character and the color changes from bright blue to almost black. First I was a little skeptical about the font color change on the dial from yellow to white but it does indeed work incredibly well. I can only recommend it!

I find the royal blue dial stunning, even more attractive than any other blue Rolex model. I wasn't into TT but this feels different, the dial really got me at the AD. Also, compared to all the black dial Subs released this year, the Bluesy stands out even more. It's a little bit showy but actually far less loud than I thought it would be. I've come to love the gold and blue colour combination.

My collection is essentially made of black, white and silver dials. I wanted to spice it up with some vibrant colour this year. I really needed something fun to wear. The supercase Bluesy was on my radar last year but the fat lugs were holding me back.

It's been a month now since I bought my 126613LB. When I don't wear it I think about it. When it's on my wrist, I'm constantly looking at it: the colours, the way it plays with the light and the redesigned case. I can safely say hand on my heart this to me is the most beautiful piece I've ever owned in 15 years since I started this hobby.

I didn't know I'd like it so much until I saw it in real life. Yeah, the Sub Date Rolesor blue dial is a revelation and a bit of a revolution in my otherwise conservative SS collection. It's the perfect watch for the days I need to wear something fun and cheerful, lately it tends to be more often than not.

My collection needed the Bluesy.
