Daytona Owners: Just curious, but how much wrist time does yours get?
Just curious on what kind of watch time your Daytona gets.
I tend to wear every new piece for about 6 - 9 months straight, then go into a rotation. I plan to wear this thing until it molds into my arm. I'm not really a babier of things, but the possible arrival of one has me thinking. |

it gets all the wrist time, i havent worn my omega since, unless i'm travelling to some odd ball country were i may get robbed LOL or my hand chopped off! on a side note.....once you've been wearing a daytona for a while, you tend to realize IMO that having a date on a watch is really not a big deal....atleast i dont understand all the fuss about having a date.

I wore my Daytona every single day from my birthday last year 23 april till someone gave me a Polar Explorer II a few weeks ago. Now I can't put them in the same watch box cause they're fighting for Daddy's wrist time.

I've had mine for about 9 months, probably have worn it 2 or 3 times. Not that I don't like it, because I do. My subs and my deepsea get the most wrist time. For me it's just easier to wear a brush finish watch so I'm not polishing it all day. I guess I'm saving it for special occasions. Just me.

I wear mine a couple times a week, but I wear my GMT IIc as my daily wearer. I like that it's kind of a special occasion when I put it on. I also like that my shiny bezel isn't scratched up yet. By the way, mine is extremely accurate too, -1 a day.

Mine is rotated but it gets the least wrist time due to the lack of date and good lume. I wear my watches 24/7 so at night time I need that glow. My YM is the best followed by the PAM104 (looses points because of the leather strap at bath times)
Still love it and would not flip it because of the lack of date and lume.

I don't wear mine all that often. It's the winter here so I don't like all that clothing to be covering and scratching the bracelet as well. I wear it more often during the summer and sometimes on weekends when I'm not busy.

I wore mine on a trip to Hawaii. I also took the Exp II but it got the most wrist time because I cold keep track of two time zones with it, and I always knew what date it was. Haven't worn it since, it's sitting in it's box. It's a little out of character for me anyway, the Exp II is more my style.

I've had mine for a year and have worn it maybe 10 times and probably not at all in the last 4 or 5 months since I got my Sub. It's a beautiful watch but the Sub just seems so much more wearable to me.
If I'm dressing up (rarely), then I tend to go with the IWC. I bought 2 GMT's in December (one pepsi, one coke) and promptly sent them both off to RSC. When they come back in March, there's even less chance of the Daytona getting significant wrist time. But I definitely wont be selling it.

Hey Eddie, didn't know you were on here!
To answer your question, not very often...at least in wintertime! Too worried about hairline scratches from sweaters on the bezel :)

Mine is just 5 months old and gets rotated in fairly evenly with my others....so I'd say I wear it about 7 or 8 days a month. Really depends on my mood.
