FS: 1971 Rolex GMT Ref: 1675 with Mk I 'Long E' Dial

Serial # 2,9XX,XXX

Case: Excellent case that has previously been polished and has some wear from use. There is a ding at the tip of the 1 o'clock lug. The original chamfers are still discernible.
The caseback is stamped: 1675  II.71

Bezel/Insert: Excellent condition faded pepsi insert with light wear from use. The blue has faded to a light blue and the red has faded to a muted copper hue.

Dial: Excellent Mk I 'Long E' dial with markers that have aged to a creamy patina.  The Tritium lume is fully intact. The watch comes with the correct open 6 silver date disc.

Hands: Very nice Rolex Tritium hands that have aged to the same patina the markers on the dial. There is a small flake missing from the gmt hand.

Bracelet/Strap: Very nice 7836 folded-link Oyster bracelet with 12 links. The bracelet has some stretch and wear from use.
The clasp is stamped: 3 71

Accessories/Extras:  This watch comes with only the watch as shown in the photos.


The watch is running at COSC spec.
