Top 5 iconic models
Hi guys, wondering everyone's thought on top Panerai models. Most Paneristis will say minimal dial and base models like the 111 but curious to what others think.

I dont have one yet, but I would think PAM 233 should be on that list along with the 127. Great topic. I'm curious what others think.

From Vendome/Richemont, I would say the following 7:
000 111 127 232 233 360 372 (plexi) If it “needs” to be 5: 111 (372 takes the “base” icon, so this is the Bettarini icon for me) 127 (Fiddy is king) 232 (pure Rad perfection) 233 (1st in-house, 8 days) 372 (base Luminor icon) For before, I’ll leave that to the vintage guys. |

I am no expert of Panerai, but I am always on the impression that bronze submersibles are very iconic

I’d go with these
111 203 232 233 372 Though I’d mix the materials a bit to make it more interesting 292 368 372 375 382 |

I stick to models you can still obtain for reasonable price , but gives you all Panerai can offer
1. 000 - 44 mm 2. 233 -44 mm 3. 190 - 45 mm 4. 232 - 47 mm 5. 372 - 47 mm |

The linear power indicator works well in balancing the ‘Luminor Panerai GMT’ text. I also agree that it would have been better in the back of the watch, but where it’s at right now isn’t all that bad.

372 for the win, even though I don't like plexi or the lack of a power reserve.
