Hello from KCMO (hey, that rhymed!)

Greetings from Kansas City, MO!

My name is Ian and I'm new to the forum. I've always enjoyed watches, cars, etc. (I was actually named after Ian Fleming).

My father used to say we had "caviar taste and a peanut butter pocket book."

I'm finally at the point where I'm secure enough in career, etc that the proposition of owning/collecting some quality pieces is a realistic goal...so here I am!

Currently I've got a couple mid-tier Seiko automatics and I've gotten a couple of vintage pieces (a Gruen and a Bulova from the 1950s). But I'm looking to upgrade in the next 12 months.

looking forward to interacting with you and maybe one day soon buying something from one of you!

Ian
